SKF And Mitchells Forge Alliance

29 Oct, 2012, A landmark agreement has been reached between SKF China, Mitchells Equipment (Hebei) (MEH) and SKF distributor CTGF. With only seven similar arrangements signed by SKF China to date, this new deal is a testament to Mitchells’ reliable business practices.

SKF is a global company, specializing in bearings, seals, lubrication solutions and mechatronics.

MEH agrees to use SKF as first choice for its customers and to only buy SKF bearings via the CTGF distributor. In return, SKF China will provide product training, better pricing and inventory preparation for MEH, while SKF distributor CTGF will now service MEH with top priority and maintain a precise inventory for MEH on behalf of SKF China.

With the signing of this agreement, Mitchells expects to have shorter lead time when ordering SKF products, minimise and eventually eliminate in house inventory of SKF bearings, and receive bigger discounts and better overall pricing. Collaboration and exchange of information between the two companies should also improve future servicing of common customers.
