7 August 2014, Mitchells is supplying equipment for an interesting new project in Mongolia, transforming an old Soviet Feedmill into a Full Press Rapeseed crushing plant.

The mill, built in the late 60s, ceased operation back in 1989 after the fall of the Soviet Union. However, the old factory has been given a new lease on life, with Delta Holdings purchasing the land a few years ago. They are refurbishing the existing infrastructure, building a Full Press Rapeseed crushing plant with intentions to include a solvent extraction plant in the future.

Mitchells is supplying 8x Chain conveyors, 1x Bucket elevator and 40x Electric slide gates which will bring seed into and out of the 57 internal concrete storage silos.

The plant is expected to begin operation in October 2014.
