Largest Turnkey Project Complete – Amcol Tianjin

Mitchells has recently completed its largest turnkey project in company history, a Bentonite Milling Plant for Amcol in Tianjin, China.

The initial phases of the project began in June 2011. Mitchells provided complete mechanical and electrical system design, fabrication and installation as well as commissioning and start-up. Mitchells will also provide equipment operation training and one year of follow up service.

This plant is a shining example of the incredible scope of supply and services that Mitchells provides. Amcol’s new Bentonite Milling Plant in Tianjin consists of:
– 1x Receiving system (50t/hr)
– 4x Raw material silos, 2x product silos (total capacity 400t)
– 1x Mixing system (30t/hr)
– 2x Milling systems (15t/hr each)
– 4x Jumbo bag loading systems (10t/hr each)
– Outside truck loading storage silos
– Electrical and control systems

This project was Mitchells’ largest turnkey project to date, valued at over 12M RMB. Amcol plans to mirror this plant in two years time.
