AFL Asia – China Reds & Mitchells

The AFL Asian Championships took place last weekend, with the China Reds competing once again.

Mitchells has been a long-time supporter of the China Reds, with CEO Mic Mittasch contributing countless hours to ensure the the team has the necessary equipment and funds to attend important events such as this.

This year’s championships were the largest in history, featuring 17 men’s teams in Division 1 and 12 in Division 2.

The China Reds won the Division 2 Plate final, finishing the day with three wins and two losses. As usual, China featured a large number of local players, this time travelling with eight Chinese Nationals to play alongside their Australian expat teammates.
